Mission, goals and activities:
The main mission of the EUROPE DIRECT centers is to bring the European Union closer to citizens and to encourage their active participation in the public dialogue related to the development of Europe. They provide accessible information on the activities of the EU, as well as on the rights and opportunities arising from Bulgaria's membership in the European Union.
At "EUROPE DIRECT - Ruse", citizens can receive information on a wide range of topics - from the institutional structure and decision-making processes in the EU to specific European programs and initiatives that affect citizens, businesses and local communities.
The Center organizes various informational and educational activities, including:
public discussions and information meetings;
seminars, trainings and presentations;
thematic campaigns and events dedicated to current European topics;
exhibitions, educational initiatives and meetings with various community groups.
These activities create opportunities for the exchange of ideas, promote dialogue between citizens and institutions, and contribute to a better understanding of policies and processes in the European Union.
As part of its activities, the center also provides official publications and materials of the European Union, including brochures, reports, manuals and other resources.
All services and activities that "EUROPE DIRECT - Ruse" offers, including information consultations, participation in events and access to publications, are free of charge for citizens.
Through the network centers, citizens gain access to reliable and up-to-date information on key topics related to the European Union, including European policies, funding programs, educational opportunities and youth initiatives, environmental protection, digital transformation, economic development and social priorities.
