Kick-off press conference

On 29.04.2026, we held the kick-off press conference of “Europe Direct – Ruse”, where we welcomed partners, representatives of institutions, the local community, and the business sector.

We presented the main objectives of the center, which include promoting active citizen participation in public dialogue and European initiatives, as well as raising awareness of opportunities for European funding.

We also introduced the main activities through which these objectives will be implemented – information meetings, public discussions, trainings, campaigns, and educational initiatives. We emphasized that the center is open and completely free of charge for everyone – citizens, young people, businesses, institutions, and non-governmental organizations.

With this event, we marked the beginning of active work with the local community, aimed at better awareness and broader participation in topics related to the policies and initiatives of the European Union.
